He wears a tall purple hat with beige fringe on top. He has a thick black moustache and goatee. Operated by three rods. Joints at the shoulders, elbows, hands, waist, and knees. '8' is painted on the collar.

Shadow Puppet3322/3

Shadow puppet of a load of firewood. Made of paper which has been cut and painted to depict the firewood. Two separate cutouts are attached to a rod through notches down their centres. Another rod is tied to the first to extend its length. The firewood is painted brown with a section of red down the centre. Both firewood loads are painted with '3'.

Violin Case3290/1

Woven basketry violin case. Made of bear grass (white), cherry bark (red), and cedar bark (black) beading over cedar root. The maker's signature is in gold beading at the top of the case. There are two hinges of leather, and on the opposite side, a woven handle and two leather ties. The base and interior are plain.

Bone Dagger3277/23

Cassowary bone dagger with a clay(?) head. The head is painted black and red, and has inset shells for eyes as well as smaller shells for designs. Pig tusk extends out from both sides of the figure's large nose. Each ear has two pieces of twisted plant fibre though it, and the head is adorned with a small amount of human hair and a fan of cassowary feathers.

Fishing Lure3274/11

Composite fishing lure of cut mother of pearl shell, cut in a leaf or fish shape, with a feather(?) hackle tied to the shell. A turtle shell barb is lashed to the shell by string. A bundle of twisted plant fibre cord is attached to the lure by string.
