Small paper accordion book. Within are hand drawn diagrams and drawings, as well as religious text in Thai(?) script.

Small prayer book bound to two stiff compressed boards, tied with red string. Cover, spine and back cover made with light grey fabric, overlaid on pieces of compressed board. Red string tied in knot on front cover. Cover design shows a seated Buddha. The cover has Chinese charaters and a rectangular border design in silver ink. The board backing is slightly larger than book itself.

Prayer book with brown wooden covers, and accordion-folded pages. No spine. There are faded Chinese characters on the front cover in black ink.

Spiral studio sketch book. Soft front cover, cardboard back cover, ten inside sheets, all held together with by a metal coil at one end. First four sheets have pencil sketches on both sides, the rest are blank. The first five sides mainly have small sketches of ovoid forms or eye forms, etc.; the sixth side has an larger sketch of an eagle figure inside an oval; the seventh side has sketches of various tools and fish hooks; the eighth side has an larger sketch of an animal (bear?) inside an oval border.

Bound paper book of woodblock prints titled "One Hundred Chrysanthemums". Book consists of a back and front cover and 27 doubled over pages, with images on one side only. Images are a variety of chrysanthemum flowers, accompanied by their names in Japanese kanji script.

Book of the Qur’an, inscribed in naskh script inside the cover. The first few pages are highly coloured and decorative. Most other pages of script are bordered by a simple band of gold and blue, with most of the script in black and red ink. Chapter headers are painted with brightly coloured decorative bands. The cover has a flowered pattern painted(?) onto the outside; a flower patterned paper adhered to the inside covers. Pages are loosely bound with string, currently only attached in one place to the cover. (Part b is a soft fabric cover that is sewn in the shape of an envelope; in storage.)

In this drawing the warrior on horseback is attacking another on foot. The rider carries an eagle feather trimmed shield in his hand that has a center design of a lizard and phases of the moon on the rim. He wears a long eagle headdress. His horse's tail is tied and feathered for war. The figure on the ground turns back and fires his gun at the rider. The bullets can be seen flying beyond the horse's rump. He wears leggings and a loin cloth and carries a powder horn.

Two warriors are battling in this ledger drawing: the left side warrior carries a gun and wears long leggings, a vest and a cap with feathers. The rider on the right wears a short feathered headdress, long shirt, short leggings and tall moccasins. He has thrust a long lance towards his opponent. Even the horses butt heads during this battle. The battle scene on this ledger drawing is briefly as follows: The Warrior has been wounded in the chest and is bleeding from his mouth as he lies on the ground. He wears a full length eagle headdress with a non-native styled coat with buttons. His war lance lies alongside of him. His horse is also wounded in the side in front of the saddle and is bleeding from his nose. Five army men are attacking the warrior as they lay on the ground all firing you can see the bullets fly over the rear of the horse and the spurts from their guns.
