Narrative
This print is the right side print of the triptych from the series, Take no hitofushi (竹のひと節; Bamboo knots; see MOA collection N2.805 for the middle print), depicting the Kabuki scene of Gion sairei shinkō-ki takinoryū (祇園祭礼信仰記 瀧乃龍). The series title and the Kabuki scene name (竹のひと節 祇園祭礼信仰記 瀧乃龍)appear on the top right, and the print is signed 楊洲周延 (Yōshū Chikanobu) with his seal.
