Fish Hook Item Number: H1.342 a-d from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Three gold plated fish hooks (parts a-c). The hooks are currently tied with yellow thread to a square piece of cardboard (part d) titled ‘Gold Fishhooks’.
The fish hooks were said to have been dredged up from a river during gold mining operations in the 1940s in Colombia, and given by. Lt. Gov. Charles Banks to Dr. Norman Mackenzie in 1947.
