Description

A quadrangular metal blade with a hole made midway. The blade is held in its holder with a metal nail. The holder has a hole drilled through the middle depth and another hole for the insertion of the shaft.

History Of Use

According to documentation from the Sisters of Saint Ann Museum this was a "spear head for killing the white whale."

Narrative

The documentation from the Sisters of Saint Ann Museum says this was collected by Agnes Dean Cameron and acquired by the museum in 1938.
