Description
Man's black leather belt, edged in red leather and trimmed with rows of white, painted metal grommets and machine stitching. Fastened with concealed metal buckle.
History Of Use
Men's belts are purchased at the store. Belts are decorated with pieces from the family wealth in the form of traditional silver jewelry. Knives and other tools are attached to the belt with thongs. Saami always wear a belt, low on the hips, with the tunic bloused above it. This forms a pouch where small items are carried.
