Nebet Miale Tata Item Number: 2523/3 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Mask is circular in shape with one rounded end and one pointed end (overlapping underneath the head), and is made out of earth. It has brown-red, white, and light white-brown painted sections. It has a black painted face, white eyes with black pupils, a projecting nose, and a brown mouth with six painted teeth. At either side of the mouth is a long tooth projecting upwards. A long piece of grass(?) is attached at the top of the head.
Purchased by the collector at the Himford Farea Museum, Port Vila, Efate Island, Vanuatu.
