Description

Miniature wooden carving of a seesaw-like object with one side shorter than the other. A man holding a long, straight stick stands on the fulcrum facing the short end. Mounted to the underside of the short end is a pestle-like projection that hovers above a large, open mortar-like object on the ground below it. The seesaw-like object can teeter back and forth, and is mounted on a long, flat, rectangular piece of wood--inscription on the bottom of the mount reads: "Husking [?] grain."
