Shoes Item Number: 1060/52 a-b from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Pair of shoes with pointed toes, reddish-brown leather soles, and yellow-brown leather uppers. The uppers have an opening like a slit across the foot just behind the arch and are embroidered on the top of the foot with a floral design in metal wire with black, pink and off-white fabric applique over which is silk(?) thread.

Narrative

The documentation from the Sisters of Saint Ann Museum says these were collected by Mrs. K. Widdowson and acquired in 1944.
