Oval, narrow flared coil basket (bifurcated stitches). Elongated watch-spring base construction. Imbricated design of vertical striped pattern with connected cross-shapes, rows alternating in black cherry bark with red centers, and red with black centers. Three stripes per side, one per end.

According to Nlak'pamux Elder Shirley Sterling this type of basket is similar to one she used as a child when picking berries.
