Description

Carved wooden carnival mask depicting a man's face with pointed teeth around the mouth opening and protruding ears and nose. A snake projects from the forehead out and down the proper right side of the mask, the body of which curls down the side of the head, behind the ear, with the tail reaching the mouth. The hair, eyebrows, eyes and body of the snake are all indicated by a burnt decoration.
