A pair of hide skin moccasins with attached soles. Beadwork design all around consists of a red, light blue, dark blue, green, black, and yellow geometric design of triangles, on a white background.
Narrative
A letter on file from the donor said the Plains items in her donation were: "collected by my uncle when he was with Roosevelt's Rough Riders and were given to him by Sitting Bull - or so the story in the family goes."
