Description

Carved paddle-shaped object with the upper half being that of a woman's body. The head has an elaborate yellow and black headdress. Raised features have painted eyebrows. Almond-shaped eyes with painted lids and pupils, flared nostrils, red painted lips, and large earrings. The yellow dress has short sleeves with raised and pointed shoulders and a carved bodice. The plain skirt is the handle. Hands are in a prayer position. Black printing on the back reads 'The goddess Malay 19C' a white sticker on the front reads '3m'.
