Description

Trousers, knee-length, made of hand-woven off-white cotton with bands of multicoloured geometric forms and figures brocaded figures.

History Of Use

The trousers are used for everyday wear. The wide top is rolled into a twist above the belt so that the trouser legs reach only to the knee. Woven by a woman.

Although purchased in Chajul, Quiche, they are typical of Santa Catarina Polopo.
