Part of a composite line drag handle in the shape of a mitten with the thumb pulled in parallel to rounded and inwardly curving finger section. Round hole runs through from front to back at the centre base of the mitten. A semi-circular hole runs from the bottom surface connecting with round hole. Two smaller holes on either side of semi-circle. Parallel lines run around the circumference of the bottom of the mitten with a series of small perpendicular lines extending up from both lines. On the centre of the convex outer surface is a raised vertical band with parallel dotted lines on either side.
Seal drags are used to drag a seal kill over snow and ice. A line is attached through the seal's jaw and the handle attached to a longer line or to a dog harness line. The seal is dragged on its back.
