Description
A low circular ceramic dish. Form flares gently to rim with light grey porcelaneous body. Foot rim unglazed. Base glazed. Interior painted in underglaze blue in casual floral and grass motifs. Plain exterior. Thick light blue-white glaze pools heavily over painting in places.
History Of Use
Probably an example of everyday ware produced for the domestic market in China, but widely exported to Southeast Asia.
