Description
Tall, white ovoid earthenware jug on flat base, slightly flared neck, loop handle at neck to mid-body. Four horizontal bands on jug separated by blue lines. Upper body has floral motifs with "16 97"; below are fanciful animals and trees. Scroll bands at neck and base.
History Of Use
The jug is of exceptional quality and finely painted with fanciful animals and sprays of conventional flowers and leaves.
