Clockwise from the deer's(?) head are the following features: a large black and grey clawed wing that extends over the top of the deer, a long brown necked bird with an open mouth and orange tongue, the tail of the deer(?), the head of a human attached to a blue bust from which a grey clawed hand protrudes, the body and head of a smaller grey bird that has a grey clawed hand protruding from its body, and a medium sized green and purple bird that faces towards from the neck of the deer. Syllabic characters in the corner are followed by the following handwritten inscription: "Spirit Helpers Lithograph 8/50 Dorset 1989 Kenojuak. "
