Description

"Whittled stick cut diagonaly at the base and broken at the tip. This specimen was fire hardened after being broken. It may be the fragment of a wooden awl or punch, or could have been used in spreading fish for drying. Square 7L3 North 2' 11" East 1'4" Datum depth 31"."
