Description
Roughly tanned goat skin shoes with high, laceless tops and long ties attached at the ankles. Uppers are dyed a red-orange and have a rough, suede-like nap. Soles are undyed.
Cultural Context
A version of the same shoes are made specially for the dead to wear during the funeral and the burial. Green and blue colours are used for the deceased.
