Large disjointed portion of a (willow?) basket. Portions of body, rim, and two handles. Needs rehousing. Information from field Basketry Card (see Archaeology Archives): Handles: Twined-twig handles, apx 10cm long. Rim: Wrap and fold type. Reinforced construction. One handle attached, the other detached. Body: Open twine construction, coarse gauge, apx. 4 stiches per inch, top side badly dismantled, otherwise in good shape. Medium to large basket.
