Petroglyph rubbing on long fiber tissue paper with black ink. Possibly anthropomorphic or zoomorphic figures per Mark Hedden's catalog. K. Meyers 7/17/2003 From "Descriptive Catalogue of Petroglyph Prints for the University of Washington, from The Dalles Dam Resevoir, 1956." by Mark Hedden, located in the Archaeology Archives: "Head on a vertical stem or backbone with comb or headdress of vertical rays & series of horizontal lines above. Eyes are circular and body has strongly emphasized rib (ladder pattern) formation which suggests a fish representation. Abstraction in figure-eight with an intermittant vertical stem throughout. Double arcs surround vertical where it extends above. Lower loop of figure includes a triangle. Upper part may contain a face with circular eyes. Lineur figure with arms and legs spread ending with three exaggerated toes or fingers. Head forked, may be horned. Two sloping diagonals from midsection, of uncertain function."
