Information from field Basketry Card (see Archaeology Archives): Detailed description: Basket material Estimated Size: Large Handles: n/a Rim: n/a Body: Body shape very distorted. (checker (1) type weave - coarse weave.) At least two pieces flattened togther. Open twining body 2 stitches an inch. Bottom: Possibly bottom (very large) checker (1) (coarse). Provenience: Cut: 9N 6E Horiz. Loc.: 265S - 7N - 264E - 6E Depth: 96cm Checker Portion Open Twine portion Warp Max: 2.30 Warp Max: 1.50 Warp Min: 1.90 Warp Min: 1.30 Warp Mean: 2.14 Warp Mean: 1.14 Weft Max: 2.25 Weft Max: .70 Weft Min: 1.60 Weft Min: .50 Weft Mean: 1.96 Weft Mean: .54 Remarks: Four measurements for all warp and weft examples.
