Description

Rectangular, white banner with an elongated eagle/human design silkscreened in red and black. The image has two outstretched wings with head in the centre. One wing has an eagle foot and one has a human hand. A wooden bar for hanging runs across the top of the banner.

History Of Use

Joe David designed the image on this banner for a series of Vancouver street banners produced in the late 1970s (which also included an image by Robert Davidson). This particular banner was a type of collectors' edition, printed on better fabric, done the year after the street banners were produced.
