Description

Clay trade pipe bowl fragment with a blackened interior from smoking; there is still soot present. The exterior is grayish white in color with a star motif that appears to be in the shape of a figure 8. Within the lower portion of the figure 8 star motif are the letters T and D. The star motif continues upwards, but one cannot see the complete design because of the fragmentary nature of the pipe bowl. There is a seam running between the T and the D on the pipe bowl. There is a feathered design present on the underside of the pipe bowl.
