Longer Description

Rectangular wooden dish with carved decoration on outside. The bowl is carved from a solid piece of wood. The sides are incised with formline animal designs painted in red and black (paint faded). The interior and outside of either end has grease residue. [CAK 13/05/2010]
Small grease box with raised sides. Carved from the solid. Exterior incised with configurative design portions of which are painted a reddish-brown (paint faded). Interior has shiny/greasy from use. [It is not clear where this description comes from. GI 3/3/2000]
