Description

A tall cylindrical-shaped wood piece (part a) carved with a head, a long body, and short legs bent at the knees on a round base. Three gold- and black-painted furrows on his brow. Black eyebrows outlined with gold. Semi-oval black eyes surrounded with white and outlined with gold and black. Large nose and ears. Mouth outlined with gold and black and carved open with four white upper teeth and pink gums. Hair painted black and carved into a bun loop at the back, decorated with gold pattern. Carved necklace is black and painted with gold floral design. Entire body painted red and decorated with gold and black U-shapes. Front middle is carved out inside and outlined with a gold spiral pattern painted on a black fringe. The arms are long and thin painted with a gold four-petaled flower in a black diamond-shape at the shoulders and wrists. Waist has black fringed belt painted with gold dots. Black base decorated with red and gold spiral design. Second piece (part b) is a long cylindrical wood piece with a rounded end painted pink with red around the rest and decorated with U-shapes of gold and black.
