Description
Wooden thunderbird headdress with an orange beak, red mouth and nostrils, and black, white and red ears and face. Top edge of headdress is ringed with braided brown and dyed, red cedar bark. Top of headdress between the two ears are tightly packed vertical strands of brown and red cedar bark and brown and white feathers.
History Of Use
Used in the bumble bee dance. Kulus sits over the house as the bumble bees come out and looks down at them.

Narrative
First shown at the Indian Sports Day Parade in Alert Bay in 1984. Also danced at two potlatches in 1984 by the Willie family. Danced in 1985 at the United Native Nations in Prince George, in the bumble bee dance. The harness used to hold it on was removed.
