AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Bottle Type: Whiskey/Liquor Neck Finish: Lipping Tool Decoration: Embossed Comments: The sides of the bottle are embossed with "London England Gordon's Dry Gin" and the base is embossed with a dragon's head. A cut glass stopper is still lodged in the mouth. One clear glass gin bottle with french square base and finish similar to grooved ring except that there is no space between upper and lower ring and the lower ring is flared out at the bottom. Remnants wrapper remain on neck/finish, probably tin. Mold seams are difficult to see. Two vertical seams on both sides of the bottle up the body to the beginning of the wrapper, unable to determine if they extend up finish. Front and back are embossed with the same Maker's Mark: GORDON'S DRY GIN LONDON ENGLAND Dried substance present on inside and outside of bottle. J. Dougherty 03/22/2010
