Description

A long wood lanceolate paddle shape that has a pointed blade with incised and pierced designs on the blade and the handle. Both sides of the blade have a four part design starting from the rounded end to the pointed tip of incised zig zags with longitudinal lines, a longitudinal band of incised hatch marks surrounded at each outer corner with an arch-doorway-like pierced shaped, a pierced design of zig zag surrounded by an incised design of hatch marks on each side and a carved zig zag line midway to the pointed tip. Each part of the four part design is separated by a plain horizontal band outlined with an incised horizontal line on each side. The handle is pierced with a zig zag along the middle with jagged edges along the sides and a pointed end.
