Description

Three pieces of brown matting with assorted bits that have broken off (it was all originally one piece). This unnumbered piece of matting was found loose in a box, along with other artifacts from 45KT20. Tag reads "Misc Sample #40," which matches Greengo 4E24 Box 5.0 (label on original matting box read Box 5.1). No description of this specific matting could be found in the Field Catalog Form, Artifact Record Notebooks, or in Swanson 1962, as well as no photos in Swanson 1962 of the distinctive weaving pattern. It has been assigned cat. #45KT20/1966-95/12 by the Burke. K. Kidwell, 03/02/2011
