Description

Brown wood rattle consisting of two rounded pieces put together, each with a semi-cylindrical handle, creating a full rounded oval rattle bound together on the handle brown string and cording. Along either sides of each piece, there is a hole to bind the two pieces together with brown string and cedar bark fringes. There is also a hole at either top side. Realistic design in green and black painted on both sides. One side has a face that has dark brown circle in circle in tapering oval eyes, a nose, and an open mouth showing twenty-four plain teeth. Above this face, at either top side, there is a pair of black u forms within a larger dark brown one that has four horizontal black dashes within and a black ovoid at top. At either side, there is a pair of dark brown u forms within a larger one. Below the face, there are eight horizontal black dashes. The other side has another face that has dark brown circle in circle eyes surrounded by a tapering black oval with dark brown brows above as well as a pair of u forms within a larger one that has four horizontal black dashes within, a nose, and a downturned open mouth showing twenty-four plain teeth. A black ovoid in ovoid with curling sides is above this face. On the same side, the initials 'EW' are carved in the handle on the upper portion.
