Description

Metal necklace consisting of thirty-eight gold coloured Mexican coins of various dates (1956-1969) fastened together by metal links that support a gold coloured, circular disc pendant with an overlaid floral embossed wreath that is attached to a large coin. Hanging from the disc are three metal flowers in a cone shape and three large coins. On the top of the coins is an eagle with a snake in its mouth, sitting on a branch and reads ‘Estados Unidos Mexicanos’. On the back, the coins have a woman’s profile and read ‘Cinco Centavos’.
