Description
Tan circular, coiled cedar root, open basket. Simple interlocking coiled work with bifurcated stitches and parallel slat base construction. A few reinforcement stitches, and an overcast rim. Design features a series of vertical zigzag (single stitch) bands in black/white/red/white/black/white.

Sto:lo Elder and basket maker Rosaleen George identified this basket as being for trinkets.
