Description

Clay bird, once part of a tripod. The thin head has a large curved beak and incised round eyes on a long neck. The shoulders are encircled by a long vine(?) with a centre channel, one end protruding at the mid-section of the piece. On the other side is a large oval of rough material where the fragment was attached to the tripod. The bottom portion of the object is long and rounded, with a curved tip. A long rectangular hole opens into the hollow centre of the fragment and two clay balls can be seen in the interior, emitting a rattling sound when the object is moved.
