Description

Wooden mask. The carved face has large eyes partially closed below thin brows, a thin nose with a sharp bridge and wider nostrils, and protruding closed lips. Small ears protrude from the high on the sides. Three lines are embossed on the forehead and emphasized with white pigment. A band of painted red sits at the top of the forehead, as well as along the lower eyelids. The head is decorated with stripes of carved diagonal lines. On top sit two figures, arms crossed, one leg bent underneath and the other laying outstretched on the head of the mask. Definded buttocks at back.
