Description

Miniature mask in bronze. Face is oblong in shape, wide at temples, narrowing toward chin. Face has heavily lidded eyes, almost closed but for a slight opening in the right eye cut through the metal to the back of the piece. Brows are arched. Nose is long, relatively flat, with protruding nostrils. Lips are rectangular in shape and also protrude, as does a braided moustache with rolled tips. A small mark sits on the cheek below the left eye. A headband sits across the forehead, behind which are several rows of braided hair, rolled at the front. Interior of mask is concave.
