Description

Latex (balata) figure of two men in a small boat. Figure is made of dyed latex rubber, hand molded. Boat takes the shape of a dugout canoe, with a flat bottom and raised stem and stern projections. Between the two seats is a high rounded cover, with nothing below it. Each man is seated, wearing a fringed skirt, grasping a thick paddle, and has incised facial features.
