Clay bull. Animal stands on short legs, neck wide and muscular, head held high, with short horns above protruding ears to either side of a mop of hair. Brow is prominent and holds two etched eyes while snout shows an incised mouth and nostrils. Stomach is rounded and hangs low, each side painted with a large oval of red-brown. Tail curves up onto back and is decorated in a stamped herringbone pattern. At top centre of back is a hole with a short neck and rounded rim leading into the hollow centre of the vessel.
