Long blouse composed of multiple pieces of off-white fabric sewn together. The shoulders and neck have pink, brown and yellow-green embroidery, embellished with metal thread and metal sequins. Below each shoulder are bands of yellow-green embroidery with geometric designs. Collar embroidered with a band of repeating diamonds. The neck opening has a short plaited tie on either side. The upper back is pleated. Tiny repeating floral embroidery extends down the length of the blouse - two lines in the front, and four on the back. The sleeves are silk and cinch at the cuff, where an elastic band is sewn inside. There are a few designs stitched along the seam below the left arm.
Purchased by the donor's great-grandmother in 1906, at a large fair in Romania.
