Exterior of lip is painted black, edges bordered with white, with white triangular motifs throughout. Edge above base is painted dark orange-red. Four rectangular panels painted along sides of pot, divided by white lines. Panel on front has a black turtle inside an orange circle. White triangles and ovals across shell and on feet of turtle. Diamonds, pointed ovals and geometric motifs throughout circle; done in white and dark orange-red. Sections of rectangle not covered by circle are black with white triangles. Yellow bird is standing inside an irregularly shaped, inverted triangle and surrounded by orange and black waves; rest of rectangle is black with abstract plant and dot motifs. Black bird has gold highlights throughout and is standing inside an irregularly shaped, inverted triangle. Rest of panel is black with white floral motifs throughout. The orange bird is inside a diamond, hovering next to a yellow flower. The diamond is framed with black triangles made up of intersecting lines; triangles are bordered by connected black triangles. Two thin triangles are hanging from the top of the diamond, overtop the yellow bird. Pot is unsigned.
