Description
Three-legged food serving tray, or low table; exterior facing surfaces painted red, interior painted black. Tray has a round top, with a high lip, before flaring out into carved skirt. Skirt consists of curvilinear protrusions on either side of the legs, with scallops and circular cutouts along the edges. Legs of tray bend inward before extending out; semi-circles carved into the outer bottom edges. Foam pads on bases of feet.
History Of Use
The tray would be used to hold small dishes of food in the center for people to share from. Each person would have their own dish of rice and would select other foods to add from the central tray.
