Description

String puppet of a devil character. He wears a gold and black pinstripe shirt with a shiny red and black front panel. In the centre of the panel is a twisted wire decoration. The shirt has a red collar and long red sleeves with a gold and black panel down each side. The shirt has a second layer of the gold and black pinstripe that extends out over his short red pants that end above the knee. His legs are red and he wears black high-heeled shoes. He wears a long black cape. His face is very angular with a pointed chin, hooked nose, and narrow eyes. His eyes are made of copper coloured sequins with black beads for pupils. He has small horns and black hair, which extends out from under a hood, and his face is bearded with a black goatee. His hands, legs and face are carved. Puppet is moved by a wooden control stick with wood crossbeams, with strings attached to head, shoulders, hands and knees.
