Specific Techniques

Tzute constructed from 54.0 cm wide length of material woven in warp-faced plain weave with warp stripes. Warp is two 2-ply; weft is 3 singles. Each end of the tzute machine sewn with double thickness of material to triangular shape. Large tassels at each end of the tzute (of 2 ply yarn) hang from wrapped cords (double strands of cords that have been wrapped by the yarn in a "figure-8"). Cords attach to cloth through small partitions in the warp and weft at the end of the tzute.
