Description
A hanging scroll painting of a detailed landscape scene with mountains, water fall, buildings and a bridge. Pine trees and prunus trees in blossom. Travellers and other figures are dispersed throughout the painting. Predominant colours used are green, red, brown and white on browned silk background. A poetic phrase in thirteen black characters and a red seal are on the upper right corner. The painting has a cream-coloured border of patterned fabric with green patterned fabric at the top and at the bottom. There is a rectangular rod at the top with a yellow cord bound by metal wire and brown fabric with a blue-black ribbon. There is a black cylindrical rod weight at the bottom covered with green patterned fabric.
