Description

A large palm sized primary flake. Dorsal surface is completely covered with a smooth, light grey/beige cortex save for a single flaked off rounded section. The flaked off section sports a point of impact site along the edge, and some compression ripples. There's also a light off-white linear band, and some light surface scarring. The ventral surface has a point of impact site, and compression ripples. Some flake arrises, and a couple chips along the edge.

Collected by Cyril Holbrow throughout his lifetime (1921-2021,) Found while living on his farming properties- he was a naturalist and knew the area very well. He donated his finds to the Clayburn Village Community Society.
