Embroidered square textile. The central design is a large red embroidered X-shape composed of rhombus flowers on a light grey-beige background. Small embroidery framed circular mirrors are included around the designs as well as within the central square. The edge is bordered with repeating rhombus shapes in alternating directions creating a zigzag pattern, with small triangles filling the space. This zigzag band is separated from the central design by a band of yellow threads, bordered by black on each side, that are stitched in alternating in orange and green thread. The edge has a thin band of black. Reverse is backed with red fabric.

Small handmade rug with military imagery: Kalashnikov rifles, helicopters, missile launchers, tanks, hand grenades, fighter jets; all woven in black, brown, green, red-brown and grey on an off-white background. At centre, inside the light grey-brown outline of Afghanistan, is woven 'AFGHAN MOJAHID ZINDA BAAD'. To the right, other text are inserted. The central design is bordered with a frame of green with red-brown. Long off-white fringe extends from short edges.

Standing female doll (part a) wearing a red and white floral patterned dress. The dress is secured with a single snap fastener at the back of the neck. She wears long white pants under the dress with ornate floral ribbon around the hems. She wears a thin white veil (part b) with a head covering (part c) overtop which covers most of her torso at the front and extends to her ankles at the back. The head covering is blue with blue decorative embroidery on the front panel. Her black embroidery floss hair is braided and secured with an orange hair tie with a single pin holding it in place. She wears leather sandals (parts d-e) with silver metallic straps. Her eyes, eyebrows, mouth and nails are painted on and her nose and ears are sewn.

Standing male doll (part a) with hands at his sides. He wears a light grey tunic shirt with matching pants and a brown open-front vest with vertical stripes. The tunic has two clear buttons securing the front of the shirt. He wears a pinkish-beige hat which is secured in place with two straight pins, over black hair of embroidery floss. His eyes, eyebrows, mouth and nails are painted on and his nose and ears are sewn. He also has a white cotton with black plaid neck scarf (part d), and a pair of black vinyl sandals (parts b-c) on his feet.

String of 26 blue handmade clay beads on a knotted string. One end of the string has a loop.

Pottery bowl with glaze patterns in turquoise blue and off-white, with smaller designs in dark brown. The round bowl has deep sides, a wide lip and a footed base. The base is unglazed and has written inscriptions with date and place information.

Hunting cloth decorated with hand painted and stamped designs. Composed of two rectangular pieces of woven fabric stitched together down the long edge. Design features four partridges across the top, and a large snow leopard with a snake wrapped around its body. Ten small clover-like designs are stamped across the top, left and bottom edges with more stamped within the leopard along with stamped circles and dots. Light yellow borders the edge of the textile.

Design features a partridge on the left, and a large seated lion with a snake wrapped around its body. The background is stamped with clover-like designs and small dots are stamped all over the lion's body. Edges are unfinished.
