These motifs extend from below the lip of the bowl to the base. In between each motif there are three horizontal bands carved just below the flanged lip of the rim. Both exterior and interior surfaces are pitted overall, with exception of the smooth areas where the bowl has been repaired and in-filled around the base and on the sides.

Several long rectangular buildings with peaked roofs and carved windows and doors occupy the centre of the piece, forming a yard in which two large oxen are yoked to a plough controlled by a human figure. Around the back of one of the buildings sit two figures eating and drinking. Beside them are a cow and calf. On the opposite side of the object is a barn with a courtyard in which stand four small animals. Along two edges stand herds of sheep and cattle in rows facing outwards. Animals and buildings are carved to be a similar height.
