BeltSj1

Brown leather belt, backed with grey rawhide; three different sized leather pockets, with silver coloured snap closures; leather holster, hangs slightly below belt, has one snap closure. Silver buckle with two silver prongs which fit into one of the six pairs of brown eyelets on the opposite end of belt. Yellow stitching decorates the front of the belt around edges and around pockets. The holster has decorative stitching in a swirl fashion.

Female has a thin oval-shaped face, circular eyes, long nose, closed mouth with large lips, and small protruding ears; eyes are painted white with black pupils, long black eyebrows painted overtop. She has long black hair tightly braided down her back; lines incised throughout, imitating hair strands. Impressed lines across bare feet, imitating toes. Figure is wearing a knee-length red dress with white polka dots throughout; dark blue dots on white spots. Goat has impressed holes across nose, imitating nostrils; eyes are black painted spots. Base is painted red; bottom of base, and figure's face and limbs are naturally coloured. Unsigned.

Group of painted clay figures on a rectangular base. Seven male and female figures, traveling in a line. Group is led by an older female on a grey pack animal; followed by a man holding a white goat, two women with bundles on their heads, man holding a white goat, and a man with a bag slung over his shoulder. Two goats, white and black with white spots, walk alongside the group. The figures all have circular eyes, wide noses, closed mouths with wide lips, and protruding ears; eyes are painted white with black pupils. Holes are impressed in their noses, except for the older woman, imitating nostrils. Lines incised across all hands, imitating fingers. All the men are wearing large-brimmed orange hats and collared shirts; shirts done in blue, green and red, pants done in white and yellow. Women are all wearing polka dot dresses and have their black hair pulled into a bun; older female has white streaks through her hair. Dresses done in red, green, and dark blue. Base is painted green; bottom of base, and figures faces and limbs are naturally coloured. Partial artist signature carved in base.

The woman is wearing a long dark blue dress with white polka dots throughout; man is wearing a yellow collared shirt, with rolled up sleeves, and red pants. Both are wearing short, pointed black boots. Base is painted green; bottom of base, and figures faces and limbs are naturally coloured. Partial artist signature stamped on base.

Hammock3448/30

Long rectangular hammock made of woven fibre. The overall design is geometric designs woven in five sections of off-white with blue-grey at centre, then black-blue on either side, and then black-grey on both ends. There are three groups of three red stripes running down the length. At each end, there is long fringe bundled together at the centre.
