Double-edged sword with an iron blade and a brass handle. Stamped on the crossguard is the number '99' or '66', and on the other side is an illegible stamp or '0'. The grip is decorated with rings, with an oval pommel with a distinct peen block.
Child's shirt or tunic. Shirt is long, flaring at bottom, wide at the underarm, then narrowing toward the cuffs. It is carefully shaped by the use of several pieces of fabric that are sewn together in small, tight seams. Neck opening is small and round, edged in embroidered lines of dark pink. Front is open to chest, fastened at top with a small shell button, and lined with a light tan embroidery nearly to bottom hem, where pink thread is again incorporated. Back is decorated below neckline with a single line of dark pink embroidery, below which sits a small flower motif in yellow, light pink and light green.
Child's vest made of thick fabric in light green, lined with light unbleached cotton. Interior pockets are sewn into the lining on each side of the front opening. Vest is heavily embroidered around collar, down the edges of the opening, and on each side near the hem, with a fine cream-coloured thread.
Ivory initials attached to a carved stick by a fibre cord and copper wire. Both items are carved. Stick is hollow in the centre and is carved in a spiral. One end of the stick is made into a fist. Inscription on the stick reads: "1901 St. Helena." Inscription on the ivory seal reads: "O.V.S."
